Who can be a member? Any dermatologist, resident, medical student, fellow, or scientist who is interested in dermatology.
Categories of Membership
Individual Sponsoring Member........$250.00
This category is for individuals wishing to help sponsor memberships from developing countries or trainees from any country. A certificate recognizing your sponsorship will be sent to you, in addition to the privileges and benefits of Regular Membership. Annual dues of US $250.00 include a subscription to the International Journal of Dermatology.
Regular Member ……........................$125.00
This is the regular and usual membership of the Society. Annual dues of US $125.00 include a subscription to the International Journal of Dermatology.
Associate Member …........................$75.00
This category is suggested for residents/medical students of any country, or dermatologists currently practicing in developing countries (designated by the World Bank). Annual dues of US $75.00 include a copy of the International Journal Dermatology. Associates cannot hold elected office or vote on Society matters.
Eligible members who live and practice in a Ban A or Ban B country as defined by WHO and the World Bank may join as e-Members. A complete list of those countries can be found at Hinari List. E-Members receive only electronic access to the International Journal of Dermatology and all correspondence will be electronic. E-Members are not eligible to vote, hold office or serve on committees.

Only Regular and Individual Sponsoring Members shall be eligible to vote in the affairs of the Society or to hold office. Election to any of the above categories of membership shall be at the discretion of the Membership Committee and the Secretary-General. Applications for membership should be completed online or by submitting this form to the ISD Office via email attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org. Members failing to pay dues, after a lapse of one year, shall be dropped from membership at the discretion of the Treasurer-General. A member may be reinstated upon payment of one year's back dues at the discretion of the Treasurer-General.
